Ok so it’s official I have a cast for the next three weeks. I picked out Donate Life Green for the color of it. At the time I thought it was a good idea but then I started thinking how ridicules it’s gonna look on sunday morning when I pass the sacrament at church. Plus I’m kind of nervous that I’m going to drop the sacrament trays with my big green club hand. Of course my Mom said “too bad your still going to church and your still passing the sacrament”. So those of you that read this and go to church with me “I’m sorry if I spill your bread and water on Sunday if I do feel free to take it up with my Mom”. I thought I would still be able to ride my bike a little but turns out that a big hard green club makes it difficult to grip the handle bars on your bike? My Mom has these training videos for the bike trainer that you watch and it puts you through a really hard workout so I think that will be my form of workout until I talk someone into sawing this thing off my hand. I already asked my mom if I could, would she let me slid my hand out of the cast just for short bits…didn’t go over to well. Oh well it’s all good I’m super lucky that I only have to wear it for 3 weeks, and the guy Douglas that put it on me was really cool and he rides Mountain Bikes. If you check my comments section he has clips of his rides done with a helmet cam. I think I need one of those helmet cams so you guys can see what it’s really like to ride behind my Dad and his friends all day (lots of smack talk and show downs).

hi Conner,
i just want to say its amazing how you’ve gone through so much but still have such a chill attitude towards it.
But on another note i have a helmet cam and it is awesome. i don’t know if you ski but it is great for skiing, i have great footage of mountain biking and because it is waterproof i plan to do a lot more, but you should look into it. http://www.goprocamera.com/
sincerely Eli

Hey, just make sure you pass the sacrament to our row and if you spill, you can blame it on all my little kiddos! They usually spill anyway! You’re amazing! Keep it up! I love the updates on all your adventures!

okay…so this whole racing dream isn’t supposed to be easy and it sure isn’t! Yikes, Connor – bummer about your wrist but I like the lime green cast and I’m sure there will be no one better on a trainer than you in a cast. Good luck! Hang in there.

Connor I love your blog! Get ready this is going to be long.
Okay so some times I forget about your blog, then I don’t hear from your mom and I think hummm I wonder if he will tell me what is up and sure enough I go on and get the scoop. I love it!
I was on my way to your house to meet up with your mom when I get a text that you broke your arm. I couldn’t believe it you poor guy not back to the hospital. Time goes by and I am waiting to hear back from your mom about how it went, how you did it, how long will the cast be on, you know the details? I hear nothing which turned out to be a blessing. I went on to your blog and read how you didn’t know how you were going to do at Sacrament with a cast on by the way where is the up date on that? Did you make it with out dropping anything thing? I have to tell you as a mom nothing is more rewarding then watching your son pass Sacrament I sit there feeling so proud and everyone smiles at us and you know God is please all around great joy. Sorry so back to my point I am sad to say that my kids don’t come to church with me as much as I would like because Dad doesn’t go. Anyway I will some times forget to ask them if they want to go. So I read your blog and I was telling my daughter about it and I asked her if she would go to church with me this Sunday and she said yes. It was great and she wants to go back next Sunday. So you sent a blessing our way. Thank you for being you!
